Q: Why is the 1967 Mustang fastback so popular on ebay?
i see these nasty 1967 mustang fastbacks on ebay and i specifically saw one that had 18 bids and it was already up to $18,000 the car didnt even have an engine. why is this car such a popular project car?

I have a 1967 Mustang Coupe in great running condition for sale on ebay too haha

A: Cuz 67 fastbacks are so damn good looking.

Q: what kind of engine would be best for a 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback?
ok. so im planning to get a 1967 ford mustang fastback in the future. I wanna what kind of engine would be the best, like for example i want the car to kind of like rock in place, like shake around. I dont know much about cars and engines, also, around hoe much would the engine cost? id really appreciate your guys’s answers.

A: I like for old school the 390 ci up too a 428 cobrajet. get a 500 plus lift cam, aprx 250 durration I have a merc 410 engine (390 bore 428 stroke) its punched out 30, running a 513/ 292 durration , dont remember the split numbers, it is running 427 ford heads, 427 long tube exhaust manifolds (cast iron nascar) lemans rods. ballanced all this and more in a 1957 ford f100. when I idle at a stop the entire truck shakes. im running flow masters right off the collectors. the 410 was fords special engine for Merc wagons for 2 years only. a little more power than a 390. with the performance heads etc. I estimate hp at aprx 530 and torque outragious.

Q: Is it possible to make my 1967 mustang a fastback?
I want to take my 1967 mustang and turn it into a Shelby. But the 1967 Shelbys were fastbacks.

So is it possible to possibly cut and weld (followed by grinding and everything else) a fast back onto it?

A: Kits for this conversion are available, but when considering the kit and the required labor, I have to seriously wonder if the means justify the end.
Why not simply try and find a fast back to begin your Shelby clone with?

Q: What’s the difference between a 1967 mustang fastback and a 1967 shelby gt mustang?
I want to know because I want to get one that looks like “Eleanor” in the gone in 60 seconds movie

A: The Eleanore was built from a Shelby GT500 which was built from a Mustang Fastback. So, you can get an Eleanor from either car — the Fastback would be a cheaper start.

Here’s one being done:

i’m looking for one to restore myself. i’ve been to websites such as hemmings, but i’m looking for one thats 0-5000 dollars

A: In the Classified section in a 1978 newspaper

Q: Best restoration book for a 1967 Mustang Fastback?
I need a complete restoration book. All the way down to nuts and bolts. whats the best one?

A: year one.com not only get the book but any part you need.

Q: whats the difference between a 1967 mustang fastback and a 1967 mustang?
im looking in restoring one that has some body damage and no engine then buying my own engine for it if you have any tips i would appreciate it.

A: the fastback with the slope roofline is worth 3 times as much as a notchback hardtop coupe. be careful how much you get invested in a hardtop, it can be a bad investment..

Q: How much does a 1967 fastback mustang cost?
I want to buy one and need to know how much to save up. About how much do they usually cost? Like around what range? Where can i find one in good shape?

A: If you are looking for one go to a lot of classic car sites but finding a 67 fastback mustang that is working and in good shape can be costly if your lucky you can find one around $10,000 or more. Try autotrader classics they have a lot of classic cars and maybe your 67 mustang. Oh yeah and check out kelly blue book if you were wondering on the price range.

Q: Where can i find a 1967 mustang fastback restoration project?

A: I would recommend looking on ebay, or buying a magazine such as muscle mustangs and fast fords and looking through the classified ads.

Q: How much, generally, does a 1967 Mustang Fastback sell for?
The Car that im looking at is going for roughly 10k and is in what i would call fair condition, there are some rips in the seats but i think that i can fix those

A: Kelly Blue Book doesn’t take into consideration the relative/collector’s value of classic cars. A ‘67 Ford won’t have the kind of standardized value that, say, a ‘85 Thunderbird is going to have.

You might consider finding a collector (oftentimes mechanics will have a favorite car) who could look it over for you before you invest.

Q: Does anybody know what a 1967 Mustang fastback GT would be worth?
It’s a 67 Mustang Fastback GT 390 4 speed. It’s in restorable condition.
Do you know approximately what it’d be worth or a website that would tell me? I’ve searched and searched and not having any luck.
Any advice/help will be appreciated!

A: This site will help you get an idea what your car is worth: kelleybluebook.com
